On Thursday 8th November, Welbourne School Choir spent the day at the Cresset theatre with several  other Peterborough Schools. The theme of the day was songs from WW1. Our choir have been practising two WW1 songs tirelessly and on Thursday,  they had the opportunity to showcase their hard work. The day was spent learning about performing on stage, having singing tuition and rehearsals, meeting the musicians and learning about orchestral instruments. The fabulous experience came to an end with a concert for families and friends. Our choir performed their songs on stage in front of a sold-out audience. Every child from Welbourne School shone. Their exemplary behaviour and dedication to our choir was clear to see. Everyone had a fun-filled day and all the children were delighted to be able to perform on stage in front of their family and friends.
